What we deliver

Programmes designed around your reality

Each programme is scoped after we spend time inside your organisation. We watch meetings, read internal comms and interview staff before writing a single slide.

Leadership for new managers

First-time managers rarely get proper training. This two-day programme covers delegation, difficult conversations, giving feedback people actually hear and running meetings that produce decisions. We cap it at 12 participants so everyone practises live.

Stakeholder communication

Your technical experts know their subject inside out but struggle to explain it to board members or clients. We teach structured briefing, persuasive writing and presentation skills in a four-session programme spread across two weeks so participants apply each skill between sessions.

Remote and hybrid team skills

Hybrid working exposed gaps most companies still haven't fixed: meeting fatigue, unclear ownership, isolation. This programme gives managers and team leads concrete protocols for running hybrid teams without burning everyone out. Half-day format, delivered online.

Performance and accountability

Annual reviews don't change behaviour. We train managers in continuous performance conversations, goal-setting that connects individual targets to company priorities and how to address underperformance early before it becomes a disciplinary issue. One full day plus a follow-up coaching call per manager.

Who runs these programmes

Our trainers come from operations, HR and consulting backgrounds. They've managed teams, restructured departments and sat through enough bad training to know exactly what doesn't work.

We started Maximize because we kept seeing the same pattern: companies spent thousands on training, people enjoyed the day, then nothing changed. The problem wasn't motivation. It was design. Most training teaches concepts instead of building habits.

Every programme we deliver includes a follow-up component, whether that's coaching calls, peer accountability groups or on-the-job assignments reviewed by a trainer. That follow-up is what turns a good day into lasting behaviour change.

What clients tell us happened next

We measure outcomes at 30, 60 and 90 days after every programme. Here are three patterns we see repeatedly.

Meetings shortened by a third

After our stakeholder communication programme, a logistics firm in Leeds found their weekly leadership meetings dropped from 90 minutes to under 60. Agendas got tighter, pre-reads replaced live presentations and decisions happened in the room instead of over email afterwards.

Manager confidence scores doubled

A financial services company surveyed 28 new managers before and after our leadership programme. Self-reported confidence in handling conflict went from 3.1 to 7.4 out of 10. Their HR director said grievance filings dropped noticeably in the following quarter.

Hybrid team engagement recovered

A software company with 120 staff across three offices saw engagement survey scores climb 18 points within two months of completing our hybrid skills programme. The biggest gains came in "I feel included in decisions" and "I know what's expected of me this week."

Common questions

Before you reach out

How far in advance do we need to book?
Three to four weeks is typical. That gives us time for a scoping call, participant interviews if needed and materials preparation. Shorter timelines are possible for repeat clients or off-the-shelf modules.
Do you deliver outside England?
Yes. We travel across the UK and deliver online programmes for international teams. Travel costs outside Yorkshire are quoted separately and transparently.
What group sizes work best?
Eight to sixteen participants is the range where interaction stays high and everyone gets individual attention. For larger cohorts we run multiple sessions or bring a second facilitator.
Can we mix topics into one programme?
Absolutely. Many clients combine leadership and communication into a three-day intensive. We design the flow so skills build on each other rather than sitting in separate boxes.
What does pricing look like?
We quote per programme, not per head. A typical one-day session for up to 16 people ranges from £2,400 to £3,800 depending on customisation depth and follow-up components. We send a detailed breakdown after the scoping call so there are no surprises.

Start a conversation

Tell us what your team is struggling with. We will reply within one working day with initial thoughts and, if it sounds like a fit, suggest a 30-minute scoping call.
